I have had the best experience with Village Caregiving in Ashland, Kentucky. With Mom aging, over the last 5-6 years, Village Caregiving Ashland has provided us with caregivers that we still count among our friends. Most recently, we unexpectedly had the need for 24/7 care for Mom. I called Village, and within a few short hours, they had a caregiver in our home...within 24 hours, they had 24/7 coverage scheduled. I was stunned how quickly they were able to respond to such a big ask with very little notice. The caregivers stepped right in and took over whatever Mom needed, they came ready to work, dressed appropriately, and acted in a respectful way. The only reason I can't give a 5 star review, is because Mom had issue with 2 of the caregivers that have a smoking habit. In addition to the smoke smell, she was put off that she was paying them to sit outside and smoke. Again, it was a big ask for Village to staff us with such short notice, and no way we could be 'selective' in caregivers, I just wanted to share Mom's only issue. Lanie and Josh worked their hardest for Mom and our family with kindness and patience, and they met our needs with exactly what we asked for at a really stressful time. We are so thankful for them. I would recommend Ashland Kentucky Village Caregiving to anyone with in-home care needs.
