While we can’t prevent falls entirely, we can provide secure transfer and ambulation support to mitigate the risks. We will assess the home to identify risks and give clients canes and walkers to assist in safe transfers. We provide ongoing assessments as well to ensure the home remains secure and comfortable.
Transportation Services
We see travel as an important part of remaining autonomous for our clients. It can make life more convenient and work to keep people in the world. Our accompanying transport service lets clients visit friends, go to social events, run errands and attend medical appointments. Our caregivers can also accompany clients to medical appointments to ensure their safety and comfort, take notes if necessary, and help them back into the car.
Social Companionship and Assistance
Our Charleston companionship services help our clients maintain social connections regularly. Loneliness and social isolation are common among less mobile and older adults. Maintaining social connections as we age has multiple mental and physical health benefits.
