Meet the Village Caregiving Executive Team
About Us
Village Caregiving is the largest privately owned home care agency in the country. Though we’ve grown over the years, our values remain the same — to serve as a reliable source of help, support, and compassion.
Our Executive Team

Jeff Stevens
Co-Founder & CEO
As Founder and CEO of Village Caregiving, I’m excited to see our company grow and make a lasting impact on clients and employees. My passion lies in creating a culture where people are proud to work, enjoy what they do, and make a meaningful difference every day.
I began my career with accounting and law degrees from the University of Kentucky, then co-founded a firm with Matt Walker in 2007. In 2013, we teamed up with Andrew Maass to launch Village Caregiving. What started as one small office in Barboursville, WV, has expanded nationwide, driven by hard work, respect, and a commitment to integrity.
Outside of work, I’ve been in a rock band, appeared on Wheel of Fortune, and even tried skydiving and bungee jumping. My leadership is built on availability, loyalty, and teamwork, with a focus on open communication and supporting my team as we grow together.

Matt Walker
Co-Founder, President & Chief Compliance Officer
I am a 2003 summa cum laude graduate of Concord College (Athens, WV) with an interdisciplinary Bachelor of Arts degree, and a 2007 graduate of the West Virginia University College of Law (Morgantown, WV). I have served as a consultant and registered lobbyist for more than 50 groups since 2007 as a partner at Walker & Stevens and West Virginia Lobbyist Group. I specialize in pharmacy, primary care, and home and community-based services advocacy. I also co-own Village Caregiving, a home care agency with 4,500+ employees and 6,000+ clients in 22 states.
I have a clear understanding of the private, non-profit, and public sectors, having spent time working in each. The son of a West Virginia family physician, I am dedicated to improving care access and quality for rural, underserved communities. I currently reside in Ona, WV with my wife, Brandy, and our three children, Lola, Ruby, and Giles.

Andrew Maass
Co-Founder & President of Business Development
Hi, I’m Andrew Maass—co-founder of Village Caregiving. I helped start this company because I care deeply about the people at the heart of home care: the caregivers. Every day, I’m inspired by their compassion, dedication, and the difference they make in clients’ lives.
I’m a proud graduate of Marshall University and the West Virginia University College of Law, and I try to bring a thoughtful, people-first approach to everything we do here.
Outside of work, you’ll usually find me exploring new places, wandering through museums, admiring architecture, or getting way too competitive in a game of trivia.

Outside of work, I’m passionate about meditation, psychology, and mountain biking. I enjoy pushing myself to grow both personally and professionally, finding clarity and balance through nature and self-reflection.

As the son of a veteran, I had the opportunity to live all over the world growing up. That experience gave me a strong appreciation for service and the diverse needs of families: especially those connected to military life.
At Village Caregiving, I lead our financial strategy and operations, working to ensure we remain a reliable, mission-driven provider of in-home care across the country. I’m proud to support the vital work we do for veterans and their families every day.

Jeremy Sissle
Chief Financial Officer
My name is Jeremy Sissle and I am the Chief Financial Officer for Village Caregiving. After 15+ years of accounting experience primarily in the manufacturing sector, I joined Village Caregiving in 2020 as the Executive Director for the brand new Lexington, KY office. After a year and a half in that role, I transitioned roles back to my first love of finance/accounting. The CFO role allows me to support all of the hardworking offices across the country. I truly enjoy watching Village Caregiving continue to expand and I’m proud of my small role in that.
I am a lifelong Kentuckian with a BBA in Accounting (2003) and an MBA (2013) from Eastern Kentucky University. I currently live in Richmond, KY with my wife, Halie, and our two rowdy children, Lee and Blake.

Corey Watson
President of Sales and Marketing
As President of Sales and Marketing at Village Caregiving, I oversee both the sales and marketing teams. I began my career at Enterprise, building a foundation in sales and customer service. I then moved into the financial world, first as a Personal Banker and later as a Branch Manager, where I honed my skills in relationship-building and management.
Outside of work, I’m married with two boys who are involved in youth sports. I coach them in football, basketball, and baseball, and enjoy golfing, running, and being outdoors.
I’m passionate about helping Executive Directors and Directors of Operations grow, especially those with limited sales experience. My management style is laid-back, empowering my team to make decisions while always offering support when needed.

LeeAnn Woda
President of Revenue Operations
I graduated with a BBA in Management from Marshall University in 2003 and spent many years working in compliance within the banking industry, alongside several others who are now part of the Village Caregiving team. I officially joined the company in 2020.
As President of Revenue Operations, I lead a team of seven and oversee all billing operations for our VA and Medicaid programs across the states we serve I’ve lived in the Barboursville area most of my life, and it’s incredibly meaningful to work for a company that truly makes a difference—for clients, caregivers, and the community.
One of the best parts of Village Caregiving is the people. This team is made up of some of the most talented and passionate professionals I’ve ever worked with—they genuinely feel like an extended family. Since joining, I can honestly say I’ve never had a day that I dreaded coming to work—not even on a Monday morning.
Outside of work, I’m the PTO President at our local elementary school and stay active on the worship team and children’s department. My husband, James, and I have been married since 2009, and we have two sons, Eli and Maddox. I proudly hold the title of #1 fan for every activity they’re involved in.

Andy Hess

As General Counsel, I provide legal, regulatory, and compliance guidance for Village Caregiving.
Before joining the company in 2019, I spent 11 years as a litigator. More importantly, I’ve been in the trenches as an Executive Director for Southern Ohio for nearly two years. I’ve done the job, and I understand the challenges firsthand.
Outside of work, I’m a proud dad of three. I’m also an avid golfer, and a massive fan of football and video games. When it comes to leadership, I value respect, honesty, and the understanding that people have lives beyond work. I don’t micromanage—I just want people to be happy and do their best.

Zach Wellman
Chief Human Resources Officer
As the Chief Human Resources Officer at Village Caregiving, I lead a dedicated team responsible for various administrative functions and work closely with our general counsel on various legal and compliance matters.

At Village, I find real purpose in protecting the company so we can continue changing the lives of clients and their families by providing care during critical moments.
Outside of work, I’m an avid cyclist, a hobbyist bike mechanic, and a proud father of two who enjoys cooking a variety of meals with my kids. My leadership style is rooted in authenticity and collaboration. I believe that growth comes from overcoming challenges and celebrating successes together as a unit.
